How to Install ed software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

ed software package provides classic UNIX line editor, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ed

ed is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ed package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ed *

You will get with ed package name, version, architecture and description in a table
